Problem Description

I have a GE icemaker that has been pouring water into its tray and not allowing it to freeze into ice cubes. Yesterday, I did replace the tube piece that brings the water up from the bottom of the fridge into the freezer with a new one, thinking it would solve the problem. I have no ice in any pieces of the icemaker but I got a call from the resident yesterday evening that it had only filled up the ice tray with water and not ice.
